Partner and CFO
With degrees from Newbury College in Marketing and UMASS Boston in Applied Science, Henry is an accomplished commercial developer and real estate investor, movie producer, and entertainment industry entrepreneur. In addition to his Providence based realty company, Henry was the owner of the prestigious and upscale Providence lounge/restaurant and nightclub, Lot 401. As a producer, he is best known for his films Dark Warrior, and The Girl from the Naked Eye, which won the Royal Reel Award in 2011 at the Canada International Film Festival and was nominated at the Hoboken IFF.
Founder & CEO
As Founder & CEO, Matthew also leads ECL's Quality Department. A Brown University graduate and successful entrepreneur, Matthew employs a Total Quality Management (TQM) approach to the company, evaluating the services provided to and the ways in which they impact the medical cannabis community. Matthew has led East Coast Labs to become an ISO/IEC:17025 accredited cannabis test lab that is known for its quality, integrity, and quick turnaround times. When not at work, Matthew enjoys exercising, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three kids.
Tanya, aka "The Boss", is our beloved Laboratory Director. Tanya earned her B.S. in Chemistry from Quinnipiac University and has over 18 years of total laboratory experience and 11 years of laboratory management experience. Tanya ensures that the lab runs exceptionally well. With a strong background in inorganic and organic chemistry, and a sharp analytical mind, she is not only a leader, but also extremely capable in all areas of lab analysis performed.
Mike is our Lead Chemist and Mass Spectrometry Specialist. A CCRI graduate, Mike is a chemist with over 9 years of experience in hazardous waste management, chromatography, quality control protocols, and inorganic chemistry. Starting in 2014, leaving for a while and then eventually returning, Mike has the longest history of working at East Coast Labs. He is an excellent chemist who can handle just about anything in the lab, and is a very much appreciated and respected part of the East Coast Labs team.
As Chief Operations Officer, Kim handles all non-laboratory operations. Kim interfaces with city and state municipalities and authorities, handles client relations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and for most of our clients she is the primary point of contact with East Coast Labs. Kim has a bachelors in Environmental Studies from Boston University. From start-ups to small and medium sized businesses, Kim has a proven record of working with C-level executives, investors, and management teams within the biotech industry to operate efficiently and grow business.
